Sphinx Get Away FA Cup Tie

Coventry Sphinx will start their FA Cup campaign with an away game.

Luke Hopkins' side travel to Bewdley Town in the Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday August 17th for a 3pm kick off.

Other Extra Preliminary Ties involving clubs in the CV postcode area are Rocester V Atherstone, Norton United V Southam and Nuneaton Griff V Brocton.

Should Sphinx progress they will face a home game against the winner of the Westfields versus Lye Town tie in the Premiinary Round.

Southam United if they win face a trip to Rugby Town, Atherstone could  have a home tie against Studley or Stafford Town.

The winner of the Nuneaton Griff V Brocton.game will be at home to Gornal Athletic or Ellesmere Rangers.

Bedworth United enter the competition at this stage and face a trip to Sutton Coldfield Town whilst Stratford Town travel to either Boldmere St Michaels or Tipton.

If Sphinx make it into the First Qualifying Round, they will face a home tie against Tividale, Alvechurch, Wolves Casuals or Pegasus Juniors.

The winners of the Rugby Town/ Southam United/ Norton Town game wiil face a trip to Nantwich Town

The winner of the Boldmere/ Tipton/ Stratford Town game will be at home to Market Drayton Town or Kidsgrove Athletic.

The winner of the Rocester/Atherstone/ Studley/Stafford game will be home to Redditch United.

Bedworth United or Sutton Coldfield face a trip to Newcastle Town/ Shawbury United/Dudley Town.

Nuneaton Griff/Brocton/Gornal or Ellesmere will travel to Heath Hayes/Black Country Rangers or Halesowen Town.
