Carl Winterbottom missed with a header in the first period but made no mistake in the 68th minute when he headed home from a cross by Scott McGregor.
Four minutes later, Covsupport sponsored Danny McSheffrey who had a superb game in midfield rounded the Masseys keeper to double the tally and give Sphinx a well deserved victory.
