Coventry Sphinx were beaten 2-1 in a home pre-season game against Cogenhoe United.
Matty Bannister fired Sphinx ahead in the first half but two goals in quick succession gave the Northamptonshire side who had been beaten 6-0 by Aidy Boothroyd's Northampton Town on Tuesday night, the win.
