Coventry Sphinx went down to a 3-1 defeat at Gornal Athletic in a Midland Alliance game this afternoon.
Luke Hopkins side took the lead in the 11th minute when Paul Saunders who was a late inclusion in the side following O'Toole pulling up in the warm up, scored.
The lead lasted for two minutes as Ravi Sangha found the net and that was how it stayed until the 66th minute when Keiron Bennett scored to put Gornal in front.
In stoppage time, Bennett scored again as Sphinx went down to a 3-1 loss.
