Southend's 24th Visit To Coventry

Monday night will see the 24th time that Coventry City have played Southend at home.

City have played Southend at Highfield Road and The Ricoh Arena and have won on twelve occasions with five draws and six defeats, scoring 48 goals to Southend’s 30.

City’s biggest win over Southend in Coventry was a 6-1 win at Highfield Road in 1927/28 and Southend’s biggest league win was a 5-2 to win in March 1964.

Southend last visited the Ricoh Arena on Saturday December 30th 2006. Elliott Ward put City ahead in the 11th minute only for Mark Gower to equalise in the 54th minute.
