Southend United moved to within two points of sixth placed Coventry City with a 3-1 win over the League One leaders Burton Albion at Roots Hall.
Anthony Wordsworth put Southend ahead in the seventh minute with Beavon equalising for Burton just before half-time.
In the second half, Barnett scored in the 63rd minute before Mooney added a third in stoppage time.
