"You're Quiet",said the missus, when I staggered in from the Blackburn game. It was only when I tried to speak that she sussed that I was actually hoarse from singing all the way through the game and drowning out some Bolton fans on the train home.

Better than Man United, I don't know but it was another cracking performance. One thing, Iain Dowie has done has turn us into a side that can rise to the big occasion. Under Micky Adams,we would have defended well for a bit and then given in as we did, that time at Middlesbrough in the League Cup.

I'm glad we are still under a transfer embargo if it means that we keep Michael Mifsud. He was superb at Blackburn and should have had at least four goals.

At Blackburn,Jay Tabb, who set up all four goals and Elliott Ward (hard to belive that was his first ever FA Cup tie) had their best games ever in a City shirt. Even Marcus Hall's stand in Gary Borrowdale was excellent.

A 4-1 win and being the main game on MOTD, finished off a brilliant day.

Walsall or Millwall, will probably come to the Ricoh with the same attitude we displayed at Ewood Park,so Dowie's going to have to get the lads wired in early to make sure we are in Round 5.

We need to show that attitude in league games as well. Saturday is the biggie and nothing but a win at Leicester will be acceptable.

So the threat of administration has been lifted for another three months. From reading the statement on Cov City Mad from the club, it looks like it is to allow the rest of the shares to be signed over.

Fair play to those who have handed their's in. It is a big ask to hand over something which cost anything up to a grand, especially to someone you don't know. I hear the club are looking to set up a group for those shareholders so they can still see the accounts and raise matters with Ray Ranson.

Some influential people in the club had shares and any group or association of them would have more clout to keep Ranson and SISU in check than the Sky Blue Trust.

Yes,they were entitled to comment having two shares but if the Trust had come out after their members had voted to hand over their shares and said hand them over, then they might have had more credence.

See you all at Leicester
