Stevenage manager Gary Smth was a happy man after his side's 2-1 win at Coventry City this afternoon

"Three wins away from home is just what the doctor ordered," Smith said to the Press Association. "Marcus is a big strong lad. He is mobile, aerially he will win his fair share in this division and he has good technique. The one thing he has missed in his career is goals. If he can add that to his game he might not be around here much longer.

"Coventry started the game very well indeed and could have been a couple up inside the first 10 minutes. They came out of the blocks quickly because we were back on our heels.

"We got ourselves back in the game at that point which was an absolute necessity, and to go in all square was something we could hold on to. We made a couple of changes and the second period had a very different picture to it."
