Coventry City manager Russell Slade has said that his side are in need of a win against Chesterfield tomorrow.
City have not won a league game since they beat Chesterfield 2-0 on November 1st at the Ricoh Arena and Slade told Laura Hunter: “We are in need of three points, there is no doubt about that, but it’s also important we concentrate on putting in a good performance.
“We can’t afford to be looking externally, we have to focus completely on ourselves and not give ourselves a limit in terms of what we can take from the game tomorrow and for the rest of the season.
“If we can build momentum it breeds confidence for the players, they come into training with a bit more swagger, without being over-confident and becoming complacent.”
