Coventry City manager Russell Slade has said that there were some really pleasing things during the 0-0 draw at Shrewsbury Town.

Slade told the Press Association after speaking to some of the City support: "There were some really pleasing things. Obviously it's about doing it right in both boxes and I'm pleased with the clean sheet because you can't build on anything if you don't get that clean sheet from time to time.

"We got that so that was obviously going to give us a chance and then we created opportunities throughout the game really, some good saves by their keeper.

"I don't know how it stayed out when it was bouncing around like pinball in the box. I thought it's got to go in, it's got to go in, and it didn't quite go in for us, so unfortunately we had to settle for the draw.

"There were some pleasing things and it's very important that we keep that spirit and that attitude and we never give up. We have to keep going. That's important."
