Sky have not said the actual kick off time for the match which will either be 5.20pm on Saturday August 8th or on Sunday August 9th and the television company are not expected to announce their full fixtures for another week to ten days.
City Chairman Ray Ranson told the CT: : "It's a nice tick in the box for us to get the first live Sky game of the new season. "The people at Sky obviously see two bright young managers going head to head as a big attraction, and hopefully we will put on a good show and get off to a great start in front of the cameras."
If the game is on the Sunday, the League Cup tie against Hartlepool United could be moved back to the Wednesday.
