The midfielder, who scooped all the Player Of The Year Trophies last season, has blisters on his feet caused by the hard pitches in pre-season.
Tabb had an injection to get him through the Doncaster game but is still badly affected by this problem.
"Jay has got a real problem with his feet," said Chris Coleman to the CT.
"He had blisters from pre-season which got infected and at the minute he is training and playing in a lot of discomfort, so we really need to see what he is like this week."
