Sky Blue Trust Call Crisis Meeting

Last updated : 02 December 2012 By SBT
Coventry City Football Club is again in crisis. Just as things are starting to pick up on the pitch, off the pitch the future of the Sky Blues is once more uncertain. As you may have seen in yesterday's Coventry Telegraph the Sky Blue Trust has urged all parties to stop their antagonistic posturing and work together for the benefit of the Club, supporters and the wider community. But that is not what is happening at the moment.

This is not the time for supporters to be shy. We need to argue loud and clear for our aims of gaining a stake in CCFC and having at least one democratically elected Trust member on the CCFC Board. After years and years of financial problems and demise we need supporters to be at the heart of CCFC and have a direct input to the running of the club.

To have your say come along to Trust’s meeting on Monday 3 December, 7.30pm at The Squirrel pub (upstairs room), CV1 2GY. The meeting was originally planned as a break from business and to have a Sky Blue quiz, but given the events of this week the first part of the meeting will be a discussion of what is going on and how to move forward, followed by the quiz (details below).

By working together the re-launched Sky Blue Trust has made fantastic progress, becoming the largest City supporters’ group and a credible voice –but we need to push on. Tell your family, friends, workmates, neighbours and everyone else who cares about CCFC to unite and join the Sky Blue Trust. Get involved and let’s fight for OUR club.
