Sky Blue Protest Makes Its Point

Last updated : 22 October 2016 By CNS Sport

Estimates of around two thousand Coventry City supporters walked from the Holbrooks Park to the Ricoh Arena to call for Sky Blues owners SISU, the Otium Entertainment Group and some club employees to get out of our club.

Many travelled from out of Coventry for the march which was loud, noisy and colourful.

The march, organised by the Fighting The Jimmy Hill Way Alliance, collected supporters en route before finishing at the Jimmy Hill statue.

Heading towards the Ricoh.

City supporters of all ages make their point known to the media.

Even Father Ted references get aired

There were around 300 outside boycotting the match as the game kicked off but numbers dwindled as time went on, whilst inside there were plenty of protests songs being sung inside the ground which made a mockery of the Board's statement that that singing Sisu Out or, Tim Fisher Is A etc would affect the players.
