Six Hundred Arlesey Fans Expected

Coventry police have tweeted that they expect Arlesey Town to bring with them potentially six hundred fans.

Considering that the entire population of the Bedfordshire town can fit in the away section at the Ricoh Arena and the crowd for their FA Trophy game on Tuesday night was only one hundred, that is a decent turn out for what will be the biggest game in the Southern League Premier Division's club's history after their FA Vase Final win at Wembley against Oxford City in 1995.

City reported yesterday that they had sold 3,065 tickets for the game but with no home matches since the draw was made and many supporters prefering to pay cash for tickets rather than on-line or over the phone, the numbers will increase as people pay on the day.
