SISU Only Funded City To Get Higgs Share

SISU's Laura Deering told a court in Birmingham that the London based Hedge Fund only continued to fund Coventry City Football Club in 2012 because they thought they could secure the share in the Ricoh Arena owned by the Alan Edwards Higgs Charity.

Deering was in the wtiness stand on the third day of the court case between the Higgs Charity and SISU and according to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, Ms Deering insisted that Sisu still wanted to complete deal for Higgs share in ACL after exclusivity period with Higgs had ended and that a separate deal for Higgs share was discussed between Joy Seppala and Paul Harris of the Higgs Charity away from negotiations for bank debt.
