Sisu, Otium Entertainment Group, Sky Blue Sports and Leisure Ltd, have had their appeal for a second judicial review rejected.
The lawyers for the companies which own and attempt to run Coventry City had basically tried to bankrupt Wasps, get ownership of the Ricoh Arena and get compensation from Coventry City Council for loss of earnings.
However, at Birmingham High Court, the attempt to get a second judicial review was rejected with the judge saying:
“In my judgment is that the claimants seek to compare apples with pears. The valuation before the authority was one that perfectly entitled it to come to the view it did.
“There would be no arguable basis there was unlawful state aid in this case. I refuse application."
