Former Coventry City striker Robbie Simpson has been told he can leave Huddersfield Town on loan if an offer comes in for him.

The striker joined the Galpharm Stadium based side for £300k from the Sky Blues but has struggled to get into the side which was beaten in the League One Play-Off semi-finals by Millwall.

Simpson, whose Huddersfield contract expires in June 2012, had only four league starts with nine substitute appearances plus two substitute outings in the League Cup.
