Best has scored six goals for City so far this season and said to the club website: "I'm over the moon because I've never won one before.
"I would have loved a goal today to wrap it up but obviously me and Clinton can't score all of the time so it was great to see Sammy chip in with another one to help us both out.
"Now I just need to make sure I keep my head down and keep plugging away."
