Former Coventry City striker Donovan Simmonds has signed for Maltese side Floriana.

He was brought to Coventry from Charlton by Iain Dowie and finished as joint top scorer for City Reserves in their one season in the Pontins League.

He did not make a first team appearance for City and was loaned to Gillingham in April 2008 where he made three substitute appearances.

Last season, he had a season long loan at Scottish side Kilmarnock. In an injury interupted season, he scored once in four starts and eighteen substitute appearances.
