Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has said that all is not quiet on the transfer front as far as the Sky Blues are concerned.

Many City supporters are concerned that there has not been a signing since the transfer window opened but speaking to the Sky Blue eNews, Mr Ranson said: "We have been particularly busy behind the scenes trying to secure the services of players identified by Chris Coleman and his scouting team.

"We are well aware of our lack of natural wide players in the squad and are working hard to rectify this issue. Since I came to Coventry, I think it is fair to say that we have conducted our affairs in the transfer market in the right way.

"I am not one to do my talking through the media and we respect confidences of other clubs but no-one should interpret the silence as a lack of activity."
