Should Have Been A Red Card - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that Leyton Orient defender Scott Cuthbert should have been given a red card instead of a yellow in the Sky Blues JPT Round 2 game last night.

City went out of the competition on penalties after a 0-0 draw and the City boss raged that Cuthbert should have been taking an early bath when he pulled down Callum Wilson who was clean through and referee Tim Robinson only cautioned him.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “The rule is clear; “Callum spun the boy and was just about to pull the trigger when he was pulled back.

"It was a clear scoring opportunity so why wasn’t it a red card?"
