Shearer Clings On To His Celtic Dream

Scott Shearer has admitted that he would love to play for Scottish champions Celtic. The Sky Blues keeper had a trial at Parkhead during his days with Albion Rovers but found his path blocked by young keeper David Marshall.

Shearer said: "To be honest, I think it was because Marshy was already there. "Because he was four years younger than me, Celtic felt they could nurture him,so there was no need for another young keeper."

According to rumours,Martin O'Neill is again interested in the Scot and his dream may come true.
