Richard Shaw is seeing a specialist in London for an achilles problem which has affected himself and Marcus Hall.
The popular defender who is in his tesitmonial year said: "I had injections in both Achilles to try to clear up a problem that has been niggling me since the pre-season.
"The hard plastic pitches in Ibiza didn't help and there has just been a build up of rubbish which has made the Achilles pretty painful, to the point that I struggle to walk when I get out of bed some mornings. "I have been trying to nurse myself through training so I am going to see a specialist and hopefully the injections will clear it up. I will need ten days of total rest before I do anything, so hopefully I won't need any longer, but it could be two to three weeks.
"But it is something that does need doing because if it doesn't then it might be a case of needing an operation and none of us want that, so fingers crossed it will work out."
