Former Coventry City loanee Shaun Goater has taken over as manager of Ilkeston Town.
Goater, who made six appearances for City in 2005, has been taking an interest in the Northern Premier League Premier Division side who are 23rd in the table and facing relegation, as they gave a couple of Bermudan born players.
Goater has managerial experience with Bermudan side North Village Rams and as an assistant manager with New Mills.
