Seventy Minutes For Gunnarsson

Aron Gunnarsson was on international duty for Iceland tonight against Scotland. The Coventry City midfielder played for seventy minutes at Hampden Park before being replaced by Eggert Jonsson.

Ross McCormack put Scotland ahead in the first half. Indridi Sigurdsson equalised on 54 minutes before Steven Fletcher hit the winner for Scotland back in the 65th minute.

City keeper Keiren Westwood watched from the stand as the Republic Of Ireland snatched a late draw against ten man Italy. Former Sky Blue Robbie Keane scored in the 89th minute.



Michael Mifsud who is on loan at Barnsley, was booked in Malta's 3-0 defeat at Hungary who had Martin Fulop in goal.

A good number of City supporters were at Wembley to see England beat Ukaine 2-1 with goals from Peter Crouch and John Terry.

Northern Ireland kept up their good run of form with a 1-0 win over Slovenia in Belfast.
