City Chairman Mike McGinnity has been told to set an example and park his chauffer driven car away from the new stadium and walk like he expects supporters to do. The call comes after fans were told to leave their cars at home when going to the new stadium next season,as there will only be 2,000 designated car parking spaces which will be pre-sold.

Instead of using land surround the stadium for parking,those involved with the project which included the City board,sold the land to Tescos and the Isle of Capri for a superstore and casino complex. They also agreed to a "Green Guide" that states that three quarters of the people using the stadium must do so by non-car related means.

There will be four ways to get to the Arena:
1) Park and walk sites up to 2km from the stadium;
2) Park and ride sites more than 2km from the stadium for those from Bedworth,Nuneaton,Leamington and Rugby.
3) A Sky Blue Home Coach scheme which will have buses collecting people from pubs and clubs;
4) A shuttle bus service from town to the Arena.
