Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has refused to give up on hopes of making the play-offs after City's 1-0 defeat at West Brom tonight.

"It's important we finish as high as we can," said Chris Coleman to the Sporting Life after the game. "While there's even a slim glimmer of hope that we can get into the play-offs, we've got to hang onto that.

"It would be such a big thing for us. Of course, it's a long shot but there's still a lot of points to play for.

"West Brom were hanging on at the end. Second half we played very, very well and I felt we deserved at least a point from that.

"Honestly, I believe that if one of our chances had gone in, as we were the team with the momentum, then we would have got another one."
