The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night is David Webb from County Durham.

Mr Webb took a refereeing course after seeing an advertisement in a programme at a match and through talking to referees whilst playing local football. He promoted to the National List of Referees in 2008.

He cites one of his favourite games as the FA Vase 1/4 Quarter-Final game between Kirkham and Wesham v Coventry Sphinx FC,  saying 'the match had everything both teams just going for the win it was end to end for 120 minutes played on a mud bath of a pitch and ended 3-3!!!'

Mr Webb has has 22 games this season including City's 1-0 win over Burnley and has shown 67 yellow cards and four red. He has not been in charge of a City game before this season.

The Assistants are Simon Clayton from County Durham & Tony Harrington from Cleveland.  The Fourth Official is Stephen Ross from Lincolnshire.
