Three companies are understood to be interested in the naming rights for the Arena which will be ready to host the first league game when the season starts on August 6th. Arena Coventry are believed to be looking for a figure in excess of the £7m initially offered by Jaguar before they withdrew.
There was a slight queue this morning as season tickets went on sale to those who had received a priority letter from the club. Supporters were asked to pay a deposit of £50 with the balance to paid at a later date. Anyone not having bought a season ticket by June 30th will have to pay £460.
Rumours abound that Birmingham City have been sounded out about moving to the Arena if the worst did happen to Coventry City.
