Seamus Could Go

Coventry City goalkeeping coach Seamus McDonagh could be leaving Coventry City to team up his good friend Martin O'Neill if the former Celtic boss gets a job in English football.

The experienced goalkeeper was brought to the club by Peter Reid following the sacking of Eric Black and it will be a bitter blow if he does go as he has done some excellent work with the goalkeepers currently at the club as well as with the likes of Scott Shearer,Luke Steele and Stephen Bywater who are plying their trade elsewhere.

One player McDonagh has worked with is Clayton Ince and the keeper has been called up for international duty with Trinidad & Tobago in a friendly against Iceland on February 28th. Ince will face stiff competition for a start with Fulham's Tony Warner and West Ham's Shaka Hislop also in the same squad as City striker Stern John.
