Scunthorpe United have sacked their manager Stuart McCall.
The former Scottish international, had only been in charge for seven months but with the Iron's a couple of points off the League One relegation places, McCall has been sacked.
McCall won only 12 of his 39 games in charge of United, drawing nine and losing 18.
Coach Andy Dawson will be caretaker manager for the rest of the season, starting with their home game against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
