Scunthorpe United have boosted their squad ahead of tomorrow's League One game against Coventry City at Glanford Park.

Scunthorpe have signed Byron Webster for the rest of the season.

Webster has been at Millwall since 2014 making 137 appearances and scoring eight goals.

The 31 year old defender had a cruciate injury since October 2017 after playing in Millwall's Wembley win over Bradford City which took them to the Championship.

However, he has returned to fitness and was a substitute in The Lions 3-2 win at Ipswich on New Year's Day.

His contract has been cancelled by mutual consent and he has joined Scunthorpe for the rest of the season.
