Scunthorpe will be able to call on the services of fit again winger Martyn Woolford.
The winger suffered a calf injury in the midweek draw against Ipswich, but has recovered to be included in Ian Adkins squad to face Coventry City at The Ricoh Arena.
Adkins said, "Martyn is fine, he got a knock in his calf the other day but he is fine and will be ready for the weekend."
Defender Rob Jones might be fit to return following a broken nose but fellow defender Michael O'Connor will miss out because of suspension and midfielder Andrew Wright is out with an ankle problem.
