Stoke City have had a £16m bid turned down by Birmingham City for Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome, according to Sky Sports
The former Coventry City defender has courted interest from Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks but Stoke are the only club to have made a serious approach.
Coventry City will benefit if Dann is sold due to a clause in his contract, followng his move from the Ricoh Arena in June 2009.
How much they will get after those in on the deal have had their cut is open to debate but with the club losing £0.5 a month, some City supporters feel that it is unlikely to be spent on players.
