The winger has suffered with a knee problem for a number of months and City boss Chris Coleman told the CT: "Belly is having a scan in Ireland tomorrow where it is the best scan we can get hold of to look at his knee.
"David is in a lot of discomfort with the cyst in his knee.
"He has probably played more games for us this season than he has for a few years, but hopefully it is only a short-term problem and we will get him sorted out.
"So we will see what the scan says."
