Savage Off To Grimsby

Bas Savage's search for employment continues after being released by CCFC. The striker formerly with Reading and Walton & Hersham has now been given a trial by Grimsby Town. Savage trained with Russell Slade's side this morning.

Meanwhile, Paul Trollope who was equally unsuccessful during his time at Highfield Road has been made coach of Bristol Rovers. The Welsh international will be assisted by former Midlesbrough, Luton,Charlton and Cardiff City boss Lennie Lawrence.
