Saturday For JPT Second Round Draw

Coventry City will find out who they will play in the Second Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Saturday morning.

The Second Round draw will be made during Sky Sports Soccer AM programme on Saturday and will see Steven Pressley's side compete in the Southern Section of the draw, due to registering their 'home' ground as Sixfields Stadium.

In the Southern Section on Tuesday night - Dagenham & Redbridge beat Colchester United 4-1, Brentford beat Wimbledon 5-3, Leyton Orient won 3-1 at Gillingham, Wycombe Wanderers won 2-0 at Exeter City, MK Dons beat Northampton 2-0, Portsmouth beat Torquay 5-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at Plainmoor, Plymouth beat Cheltenham 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw at Whaddon Road, 

In the Northern Section, former City midfielder Danny Philliskirk scored twice for Oldham Athletic in a 4-1 win at Shrewsbury Town, Hartlepool beat Bradford City 5-0, Fleetwood won 2-1 at Tranmere, Port Vale beat Bury 2-1, holders Crewe beat Accrington 1-0, Notts County beat Burton Albion 1-0, Wolves beat Walsall 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw and Sheffield United are through after a 5-3 penalties win after a 0-0 draw at Scunthorpe.
