Satisfying In The End - Willis

Last updated : 02 November 2016 By CNS Sport

Coventry City captain Jordan Willis has said that the 2-0 win over Chesterfield was satisfying in the end.

Willis told Laura Hunter about the win in which he fired City ahead in the 68th minute: “It was satisfying in the end, despite a poor first-half. I think second-half we came out with much better intent and very happy to grab a goal myself.

“It was my first league goal and both of my goals this year I’ve scored with my left, not sure what is going on there.

“It was also our first goal from a corner in the league and that was a stat we’ve been looking at a lot. It is something we are looking to improve on. You see the teams up there at the top of the league who score a lot from set-pieces.”
