Samuel Out For The Rest Of The Season

Dominic Samuel is out for the rest of the season after a fractured ankle was diagnosed.

The loanee from Reading was hacked down in the ninth minute of Coventry City's 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient last night and had a scan today.

This has revealed that Samuel has a fractured right ankle and he will be out for the rest of the season.

Samuel watched City U21's 2-2 draw with Charlton this afternoon but is expected to now return to Reading for treatment and posted on his Instagram account: "Missing the rest of the season due to a bad tackle last night , Finding out i fractured my ankle and will need a op, never nice news but I would like to wish Coventry City good luck with the rest of the season and thank you to the fans for being so supportive and welcoming me to such a great Club.""
