Coventry City loanee Dominic Samuel is hoping that his ankle is just bruised.
The loanee from Reading was forced off after ten minutes of the defeat to Leyton Orient after taking a hefty kick to his right ankle in a challenge which went unpunished.
Samuel who is going for a scan today, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I’m hoping and praying it’s just bruising.
“It’s pretty swollen and there was no way I could carry on but hopefully the swelling will go down and I’ll get some good news from the scan.
"I just hope it’s not ligament damage that will keep me out for a long time.”
