Russell The Ref For JPT Cup Tie

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s JPT First Round South Western Section game at Wycombe Wanderers is Mick Russell.

Mick is a Gas Service Engineer who started refereeing in the 1990's after being encouraged to give it a go due to his moaning about referees whilst playing. The married man with three kids reached the National List of assistant referees in 2000 and was the referees' list in 2004. 

His last City game was the 1-0 defeat at Leeds United in February 2011 and previous City games he has been in charge of are was the 2-0 defeat at Cardiff in October 2009, the 4-0 home win over Barnsley in February 2008 and the 3-2 defeat at Ipswich in January 2005.

His assistants are Ryan T.Atkin and Daniel Cook and the Fourth Official is Stephen Daly.
