Although scoring in every match since joining Maltese club Valletta, Michael Mifsud had to be content with just a runners-up medal as Valletta were ousted by Birkirkara for the Premier League championship.
Mifsud joined Valletta in February after being without a club since his contract at Coventry City expired on July 1st 2009.
