Rohan Ricketts admitted to the CET that he was shocked by the pace of Championship football.

He said: "I have felt a little bit fatigued out on the pitch because I have been playing reserve games and the Championship is a lot quicker than the Premier League at times with end to end football.

"So it has maybe been a bit of a culture shock in terms of the amount of running you have to do but I am trying to adapt and give it my best shot. "I thought I did all right against Leicester but I am always trying to improve in my next game and hopefully I will get stronger.

"I love football and I am just trying to help the team. At the moment we haven't won yet in the two games I have played so I am not as happy as I could be. "I am still enjoying it though, but I want to help the team win."

The loanee from Spurs went on to say: "I think Tuesday's game was a good game for the neutral with plenty of end to end, 100 mile an hour stuff at times.

"I thought we did well and deserved to win the game after taking the lead twice but we threw it away, but you have to take the positives out of the game and move on and look forward to Wigan at the weekend.

"Everyone is really confident and the boys are really up for it. We just need that win. "We went up to Burnley who were tenth in the league and at times we looked like we were playing at home. "Now we go to the league leaders but we feel we can win."
