Robins: We'll Have To See What Portsmouth Do With Baker

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that the Sky Blues will have to wait to see what Portsmouth do with Carl Baker.

Speculation about Baker rejoining City has reached fever pitch especially on social media where wind up merchants have had a field day with Baker tweeting tonight that he cannot leave his house due to 99.9% asking the same question.

Speaking about Baker, who has been told that he can leave Portsmouth, Mark Robins told BBC CWR: "Two and two put together, with him still living in the area as well, and it's fair to come out with that conclusion.

"But it's not as simple as that, and we have got to a point now where we are at the limit in what we can do at the moment.

"We have just got to wait and see with what Portsmouth do with him."

Whether Baker, would want to re-join a club which is in a division lower than when he left and one he was promoted out of with Portsmouth and back to a club whose Chairman said that his legs has gone, is open to debate as is the point of who City would have to off-load before the transfer window closes in order to free up the necessary wages in order to bring him back to the Ricoh Arena.
