Robins- We Need To Be Ready For New Manager Syndrome

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that his side have to be ready for the latest round of new manager syndrome.

Scunthorpe showed they have been rejuvenated since the appointment of Brian Laws and now with Saturday's opponents Hartlepool United appointing John Hughes, the City boss is wary of the threat that this will pose.

"They’ve changed their manager so you’d expect a reaction from their players similar to the Brian Laws scenario on Saturday," said Mark Robins to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

"They are at the bottom of the league after having some tough breaks and we have to be ready for the response with the new manager syndrome.

"You get that initial drive to impress the new manager but they have got some good players there and not had the breaks. And we know how difficult it is in this league, so it’s another one of those and we have to focus on us."
