Mark Robins has said that he wants the same sort of commitment from his players, that City supporters show in getting to matches all over the country, week in, week out.

Robins told City's press office this morning:  “It’s a long journey but you have got to feel for them as well because they do it every other week.

“It’s a beautiful part of the world and we are going to go down this morning and we are going train on our way down and get there in reasonable time, just part of our daily routine.

“They are a good team. They were a bit shattered during the Christmas period and needed a breather, which they got and since then they have had two good wins, so they have got a little bit of confidence, a bit of momentum going.

“We have built up a little bit of momentum as well and the way we are playing is exciting, for us going away, so why should we change?

“We have set about a philosophy and are trying to sort of embedded it and see how far we can go with that, so a lot of positive signs for us and we want continue in the same vein. “They are a decent footballing team, it should be a good game.

“I was in London on Monday night meeting with the London supporters of Coventry City and it was clear that they follow the club all over the country and spend fortunes doing that, so that’s worth bearing in mind as well for everybody, that’s a huge commitment supporters make and a lot of them stay overnight and make a weekend of it.

“There’s a huge commitment from them and they expect the same from us and it’s worth reminding the players.”
