According to reports in The Mirror, Barnsley boss Mark Robins is on the list of managers that Coventry City want.
Robins started his playing career at Manchester United and then played for twelve more clubs from 1992 until he retired at Burton Albion in 2005, making 375 appearances and scoring 106 goals.
He was appointed manager of Rotherham United in 2007 and had a couple of good seasons before replacing Simon Davey at Barnsley in September 2009.
The paper claims that City will keep current caretaker Andy Thorn until the end of the season and that 'City are looking at more experienced alternatives to manage the Championship strugglers.'
