Robins Trying To Keep Pressure Off City Youngsters

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is trying to keep the presure off his younger players.

Robins brought on Jordan Shipley and Jordan Ponticelli in the televised 0-0-0 draw at Barnet and said "I didn't want to make changes too early because the pressure was building on them and you could see it.

"I like Jordan Shipley and I think he is developing nicely but he is still learning the game and he's only a young lad.

"He has got a great left foot and a good delivery from set plays, which is what you saw at the end there with those three corners.

"And then we brought on Jordan Ponticelli at the end and if something drops to him, it's likely he will put it on target, but we aren't putting any pressure on him.

"He got a wonderful reception from the supporters and that will mean the world to him.

"Obviously we have got Callum Maycock as well, and Ben Stevenson.

"I like them all, but I can't get them all in the team at the minute and they have just got to keep grafting."
