Robins Thanks Reckord

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has thanked defender Jamie Reckford for his time at City.

The left back was recalled by parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday, after being deemed surplus to requirements by the City boss.

Most City supporters were generally pleased with the effort shown by Reckord, who slotted in well to City's defence and Reckord went on to make ten starts and one subsititute appearance for the Sky Blues in their League One campaign and cup matches.

However, Reckord was on the bench during most of November and earlier this week, Robins had claimed that he was ill when answering a question about whether he was going to extend his loan.

The Championship  club recalled Reckord back from his loan early and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, the City manager said: "We wish Jamie all the very best for the future and thank him for the part he has played for Coventry City this season."
